Send from Xender for Android to iPhone, PC and Mac

Once Xender for Android is installed, the same workflow sends files to any other platform. The app picks a platform-specific pairing mode automatically — QR code to PC, direct Wi-Fi to another phone, local network handoff to iPhone.

Android → Android: both devices run the app, one taps Send, the other taps Receive. Transfers peak at 40 MB/s on Wi-Fi 6 hardware.

Android → iPhone: install Xender on iPhone too (from the App Store). On the iPhone, iOS will prompt for local-network permission the first time — approve it. Back on the Android phone, tap Send → pick iOS as the target platform. The iPhone appears in the device list within two seconds.

Troubleshooting

Why Xender for Android isn't working — and how to fix it

Failed transfers with Xender for Android almost always trace back to one of five causes. Work through the list; one of them will solve it.

App can't see the other phoneWi-Fi is off on one device, or the two phones are on different Wi-Fi networks (home vs guest, 2.4 GHz vs 5 GHz). Turn Wi-Fi on both phones and connect them to the same SSID, or use the built-in hotspot mode so one phone creates a network for the other.

Transfer stalls at X%Battery saver killed the app's process, or the screen turned off mid-transfer. Disable battery optimization for Xender in Settings → Apps → Xender → Battery → Unrestricted, and keep the screen on during large transfers.

Slow transfer (under 5 MB/s)Older phone with an 802.11n Wi-Fi chip on one side of the pair. Nothing the app can fix — the radio is the ceiling. Connect to 5 GHz Wi-Fi instead of 2.4 GHz if both devices support it.

VPN interferenceAn active VPN on either device breaks LAN discovery. Disable the VPN during pairing; re-enable it afterward if needed. Files never leave the local network anyway, so there's no privacy cost to toggling VPN off.
